Come join Wasatch Whitewater & Soar Northwest on an epic 6 day trip down the Main Salmon in Idaho July 26-31, 2023.

We will learn basic progressions through Class 3 whitewater, learn how to read water and basic playboating skills.

Paddle. Learn. Camp. Engage. Repeat.

Prerequsites include:

Prior kayak experience is required.

A pre-trip assessment with Wasatch Whitewater.

Provo and Weber River Sessions will be available 7 days a week with reservations. This will be weather and water level dependent.

Come learn the basics in a river setting with 4 to 1 coaching from our staff. Topics include hydrology, paddle strokes in current, bracing, eddy turns, ferrying, peel outs, swimming, boat recovery, and surfing.

We provide boats, paddles, skirts, helmets, and semi-drytops.

You are responsible for quick dry layered clothing, dry clothing to change into after the session and appropriate footwear.

Flatwater Sessions will be available 7 days a week with reservations. This will be weather dependent.

Come learn the basics in a controlled environment with 4 to 1 coaching from our staff.
